Hey There, I'm Rachel đź‘‹

I'm a strategic product designer based in NJ/NY. I design product systems that turn regulatory complexity into scalable & user-friendly products. Meet Rachel,

I am a product designer in the New Jersey/New York area specializing in systems for complex, regulated products. I have a background in finance, mathematics, and psychology, which enables me to take complex ideas and rules and convert them into clear, usable systems. I focus on reducing friction, building user confidence in their decision-making, and designing robust systems that will continue to function as they grow over time.

If you are attempting to solve a complex problem, testing a new idea, or simply would like to communicate, please do not hesitate to contact me. I would be happy to discuss your needs.

My Design Philosophy

Understand the System Before Designing

When it comes to great design, it all begins with creating a sense of understanding for the system's complexity. I focus on identifying the system's structure first, so that decisions are easy to make and the system remains stable and consistent.

Use Design as a Decision-Making Framework

For me, design is not just visual expression. Each flow and each interaction are created to guide decision-making, reduce risk, and provide a structure that supports both the user’s intent and business outcomes.

Design Systems That Grow and Scale Over Time

Instead of creating systems that will only meet the needs of the current moment, I create systems that adapt as the product, regulations, and user needs change over time while maintaining stability.
